Money on Cake or Cake Boxes

Sugar rush:

Cakes have been relevant since events like birthday, big gatherings or even a milestone has to be celebrated. Combination of sugar, flour and everything nice is the best way to celebrate with the loved ones. It allows us to show gratitude love and appreciation in its purest form. Birthdays are always special and as special as the birthday usually is it follows a strict requirement for an even more special cake. It also is one of a kind sweet dish that is shared amongst many at a gathering or a party, usually with candles on top to show how special it really is. 


Also requires quite some skill to blow out all those candles once you pass the age of 10, as every year on your birthday an extra candle is lit. Its traced back to the Romans as they too ate cake to celebrate the good times, Cake is forever.

The presentation is everything:

The best birthday that I had witnessed with my twin sister was our 16th Birthday, celebrating it every year together, this was different. As we were not together for the first time in 15 years, I was in a different country than her and we knew we were not going to get to see anyone soon. It was truly heartbreaking but being the smart sister she is, she advised to try our level best to either meet or come up with a perfect resolution which we did. It was the first ever Skype Birthday celebration, both 16 were very happy to hit sweet sixteen. We played the birthday song with a lot of guests around both of us but to our surprise, we hardly looked at each other, we were busy enjoying the delicious cake right in front of us glowing in the dark. 

Though lonely we were so hooked on the feeling of special yet only wanting to be in each other’s arms. Nothing feels better than to stand next to a genuine person which is there for you and you only. People clapped sang and we closed our eyes and blow away the candle, since then we have yet to celebrate together.

Back to the Future:


Fast forwarding 20 years from now, I and my wife have successfully started a cake business with the help of our daughter who is the founder and proud designer of the cakes as well. There isn’t a day we sit in peace as the orders have been coming in fast and brutally close to due date. Making the cakes my daughter has no issues with but while delivering the cakes the issue of it losing its shape was the biggest issue to tackle for us as a whole. The cake boxes we used for the first few orders were not keeping the cake intact so drawbacks and reputation were on the line. It did bite us on our behinds as we ordered the older Cake boxes in bulk, and now they are no use to us. 



We had to learn the hard way but we did, after conducting some research from brands like Baskin & robins and Walmart we found out, during the cake boxes for sale that they also had an issue in the beginning. As they also were making ice-cream cakes and a regular cake box would not keep the cake intact. After finding a wholesaler which makes cake boxes we finally came to a deal that in order to get what we wanted, custom printed and specific dimensions the wholesaler was happy to oblige with the order, while we offered him a good compensation and a free cake for his birthday.
